Take two tablespoons of olive oil heat it up in a skillet. Mince half cup each of carrot, peeled celery and onion crush three cloves of garlic, cook for about 10 minutes add a can of drained canned tomatoes, salt and pepper, cook for another 10 minutes or so adding a little of the tomato sauce if necessary.

Throw out the jars of spaghetti sauce in your cupboard.
